Tragedy Strikes as One Fatality Confirmed in Surrey House Fire

In a devastating incident on Monday morning in Surrey, one person lost their life in a house fire, while others managed to escape with injuries.

The Surrey RCMP reported that emergency responders rushed to a residence on 26 Avenue near 144 Street just before 7 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Upon their arrival, the house was already fully engulfed in flames, with fire crews working hard to contain the situation. Unfortunately, one individual was discovered deceased inside the house. The authorities are actively investigating the cause of the fire.
