The Surrey Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is actively investigating an incident involving shots fired at a residence during the early hours of December 27, 2023.

At approximately 8:03 am on the aforementioned date, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of gunfire in the 14900 block of 80 Avenue. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the residence in question sustained damage consistent with bullet holes.

Law enforcement officers were swiftly deployed to the scene, where they meticulously examined the area, interviewed witnesses, and canvassed the neighborhood for potential CCTV footage. The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit has taken charge of the ongoing investigation, with officers diligently working to ascertain the motive behind this unsettling incident.
